A love of learning

Your little one is now learning on a more complex level, but our highly educated and experienced teachers, who integrate the curriculum with creative and intentional planning, make that part easy! You will be amazed as you watch your child’s mind expand and their growing thirst for learning.

Solid self-care Skills

Expect to see a more structured daily routine for your child, as they learn problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. They are also more independent, and we show them how to follow basic self-care routines.

We’ll gently introduce:

  • hand washing
  • preparing themselves for nap, on their own

Fresh Snacks Everyday

Our little ingénues and budding chefs can’t wait to dip, sip and stir! Often helping in making a treat or two, your little learner will know just what their body needs to be well and happy.

Perks Included in Tuition

The preschool schedule has an added bonus of Spanish lessons twice per week plus extra specials: Physical Education, Home Economics, and Science – all included in tuition!

Beyond the Basics of Learning

Our preschoolers now learn math, science, language, and writing skills in addition to the daily sign language, art, music, sensory, nutrition, fine motor, gross motor and dramatic play activities.

Build confidence and drive passion

We delve into your child’s areas of interest to draw out what makes them tick. We love spending quality time with your little one, who gets more from us due to small class sizes.

Time to Shine

There are many opportunities to prepare your tot for being in front of a group, practicing public speaking and performance skills while having a blast! By far some of our favorite times are watching you and your child smiling wide and living the moment, at one of our many shows and events.

  • Two Great Curriculums: Creative Curriculum and The Kindness Curriculum

Active listening is a key component when working with Preschoolers. This allows the children to verbalize their feelings and opinions. This supports their development of empathy, helps diffuse emotional situations and lets the children know that they are an important part of the class. Our teachers will provide a balance of both support and encouraging independence to build confidence in problem solving and building relationships. With the introduction of the Kindness Curriculum at the Preschool level, children receive lessons focused on respect, kindness, empathy, and self control.

Preschoolers are typically walking and running well by this stage, however learning balance and physical awareness is essential. Our teachers will be seen using games, personal space activities, and fine and gross motor activities to help the children build on their physical abilities.

At this stage of development children continue to question the world around them. The observations, inquiries, and interactions they experience give them opportunities for new interests and understanding new concepts. Our teachers enrich their classrooms with picture/text combinations which develops their reading and writing skills. Playing games using words, letters, and sounds promotes a love for language and makes reading and writing fun.

Preschoolers are still mastering their skills of staying focused for long periods of time. Our classrooms encourage routines and predictability so they can relate to their environment and build on their confidence and character. Role playing is a great way for preschoolers to relate to the real-world but also understand their surroundings. Our classrooms are set up to encourage play and socialization so the children can bring daily routines such as cooking, reading, experimenting, and creating to life. This also helps the children build their relationships with friends and problem solving skills.

Creating environments that are rich in text is the best way for a preschooler to begin to associate their environment with print. Mastering letter sounds and sound combinations supports their growth in being able to independently identify and write letters or words. Creating lists, reading books, writing cards, and even playing restaurant are activities you will find in our classrooms to help build on their early reading skills.

Finding new ways to encourage the children to count and problem solve encourages math concepts. It also teaches the many different ways math skills are used throughout the day. You will find our teachers exploring collections, developing patterns, solving puzzles, and doing sequencing activities. During our Morning Meetings, children will practice their days of the week, months of the year, and even count all of their days in school!

We have collaborated with a national security company that specializes in child care and will be more than happy to discuss our building security when you tour. To remain as safe and secure as possible, we do not want to advertise this information. Be sure to talk with the director when you come!

Yes! We provide two snacks and a nutritious lunch. Children are given water with snacks and milk with lunch. We also have a vegetarian option on a daily basis. All included in tuition!

We keep close track of the children’s allergies and will make any accommodations necessary. We welcome any replacement items that you would like your child to have however, we will make all accommodations that we can so you do not have to provide anything.

We have a medicine log where you would fill out all of the necessary information we need to administer the medication for your child. Medications must be in their original packaging and must be prescribed to the child.

If your child has a very high fever, is vomiting, has diarrhea or is exhibiting symptoms of a contagious illness, you will be notified and asked to pick the child up. In cases requiring medication, we ask that the child only return to our care after 24 hrs on medication. Illnesses are dealt with on a case by case basis. Throughout the day we will keep in contact with the parents to update them of their child’s symptoms.

Magic Memories has been wonderful! Thank you again for loving and supporting her as she has grown up in your school. They say it takes a village to raise a child, you and your staff are definitely part of the reasons why Ella is the happy, smart, fun loving child she is today.

Coming to daycare at Magic Memories has been, well, magical! Really, I feel so great sending (my son) and knowing he is loved so much.

As a former childcare provider, I had a lengthy checklist of requirements and expectations when looking for a daycare for my son. The moment I walked in, I knew Magic Memories would meet all those items on my list and so much more. I am so blessed to be able to send my child into a loving and welcoming environment where he is cherished and nurtured by all of the fabulous staff. Thank you Magic Memories for providing my family with so much more than just childcare.
