Julia, Infant Teacher
Julia is one of our Co-Lead Teachers in the Fireflies classroom. She joins the Magic Memories team with tons of enthusiasm to share. Julia recently graduated from Cabrini University with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree and Teaching Certificate from Cabrini as well. Julia has experience taking care of infants, as she is one of the primary caretakers of her one year old niece. In her free time, Julia likes to read, sing, and go to the theater (she’s a huge musical lover!). In the future, Julia hopes to teach at the high school level and have a family of her own. Julia is loving every moment here at Magic Memories and is thrilled to be spending her time surrounded by the little ones!
Briana, Infant Teacher
Briana (Bree) is one of our Co-Lead Teachers in the Fireflies classroom. She comes to Magic Memories with 9 wonderful years of working with children of all age, however, infants and toddlers are her favorite ages to work with. Bree studied Early Childhood Education at Temple University and later transferred to Lincoln University earning her Bachelor’s in Human Services. Some of her favorite things are singing, sunflowers, and her favorite animals are elephants and turtles. Bree’s favorite colors are red and green and she loves pasta! Bree is excited to watch the little ones grow throughout the year!
Shawnna, Toddler Teacher
Shawnna is our Turtles Teacher. She has been working at Magic Memories since June of 2012, starting off as an afternoon assistant and moving up to a building floater. Shawnna has taken the Child Development and Introduction to Education courses at Phoenixville Area High. She recently graduated from Medical Assistant school and currently works at Phoenixville Hospital on the weekends. She loves to watch the children grow more and more every day. Shawnna has a beautiful little boy of her own and a younger brother whom she both adores. She enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and relaxing.
Georgia, Toddler Teacher
Georgia is our Duckies Lead Teacher. She is currently attending the University of Phoenix to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Prior to going for Early Childhood she was going to go for Music Education, however after working in the Early Education field for a year Georgia realized she had a passion for teaching younger children. Georgia is currently engaged and cannot wait for her wedding - hopefully in the Fall being it is her favorite season! In her free time Georgia enjoys spending as much time with her son as she can and going out and doing things as a family.
Carol, Toddler Teacher
Carol is our Assistant Teacher in Duckies and recently joined Magic Memories in May of 2018. She loves coming to work everyday to see the children smiling, laughing, learning, and growing. Children are her passion in life! She has six grown children and seven beautiful grandchildren. She cares for her one granddaughter every weekend and loves spoiling her! In her spare time, Carol enjoys spending time with her family and doing anything outdoors. She loves riding horses on the trails and even owned her own horses before!
Brittany, Toddler Teacher
Brittany is our Tiggers Teacher. Brittany is 25 years old and lives in Collegeville, PA. She lives with her parents and her younger brother who attends Temple University. She is a graduate of Methacton High School and attended Montgomery County Community College where she took courses in Early Child Care. Brittany enjoys running, shopping, and sitting by her pool in the summer. When she is not at home in Collegeville, she spends time at her family’s beach house in Sea Isle City, NJ. Brittany is a huge Eagles fan and goes to many games since her dad is a season ticket holder. She enjoys her time at Magic Memories working with such great children, parents, and a wonderful staff.
Abby, Toddler Assistant Teacher
Abby is the Monkeys Teacher, and has been part of the Magic Memories family since 2015. She graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School and took teaching courses through Delaware County Community College while still attending high school. Currently, she is enrolled in Montgomery County Community College to earn her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. In her free time, Abby likes to spend time with her twin sister or visit her favorite place, Disney! She enjoys being surrounded by children and would love to become a Kindergarten Teacher one day.
Jerilynn, Toddler Teacher
Jerilynn is our Caterpillars Co-Lead Teacher. She is the youngest out of eight children in her family, plus she has a twin sister. She received her Associate's Degree in Medical Assistance from Brightwood College. Jerilynn is currently enrolled at Delaware County Community College for Early Childhood Education. She has fifteen years of experience as an Infant and Toddler teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to the Bahamas, Punta Cana, Canada, and Jamaica. Jerilynn’s favorite place to visit is Disney where she goes every summer with her family for vacation. She is happily married with three children and enjoys spending time with them on the weekends, especially to watch her son play football.
Britney, Toddler Teacher
Britney is our Caterpillars Co-Lead Teacher. She is 23, and has recently graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education, English. Britney has many years of experience with all ages, and in different types of classroom settings. She has a huge passion for helping children/adolescents grow throughout their learning process. Britney has been dancing since the age of five, and has been teaching dance since the age of fifteen. She is currently a member of Artistic Edge Dance Company. She loves music, sports, cooking, shopping, and always being able to spend time with friends and family.
Adrienne, Preschool Teacher
Adrienne is our Seahorse Teacher and started working at Magic Memories in May of 2018. She recently graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelors in Rehabilitation and Human Services. Adrienne is currently working towards her Master’s in Early Childhood Education from West Chester University. She has five years of babysitting experience caring for children ranging from infants up to five year olds. In Adrienne’s spare time she likes to read, bake, and visit her family back in her hometown.
Alicia, Preschool Teacher
Alicia is our Giraffes teacher. Alicia joined the Magic Memories family in the Fall of 2014. She has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from West Chester University and is a licensed teacher in PA and NJ. She is also working towards her Master’s in Early Childhood Education and her Director’s Credential, and graduates in December! She has spent the majority of her career working as a preschool teacher, but spent a few years as a substitute teacher in public schools too. Outside of Magic Memories, Alicia is a volunteer with the Cat Angel Network. She is also a Broadway enthusiast and goes at least twice a year to New York City to see a show! Alicia is also a lover of all things Disney, cats, and penguins!
Crystal, Preschool Teacher
Crystal is our Busy Bees teacher and recently joined the Magic Memories in January of 2018. She has been in the education field for over 20 years and cannot see herself working in any other field. She is a wife, mother of two lovely sons, and an educator. Crystal received her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from St. Joseph’s University. She is currently taking classes to obtain her master’s in Pre-K to Fourth Grade. The quote “children are our future, teach them and let them lead the way”, is a quote she takes to heart. Nurturing and teaching is something Crystal has in her soul. Helping and watching children grow brings her so much joy in life and she is excited to continue her passion of teaching at Magic Memories.
Jill, Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
Jill is the Chameleons teacher and recently joined the Magic Memories team in August 2017. She graduated from Kutztown University where she studied Elementary Education to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree. She also studied Music Education, so “Music and Movement” will be extra special for the Chameleons! While completing her degree, she fell in love with flowers. The Chameleons will be sure to come home with some floral knowledge too! In her spare time, Jill teaches piano lessons and practices her favorite pieces! Jill also enjoys cooking, home improvement projects, trips to her cabin, and singing.
